Healthy Soul, Healthy Body

Do you feel like the health of your soul and the health of your body are related?  I think when someone is sick and hurting on the outside, it is often because they are sick and hurting on the inside as well, or have been at some point in their life.

Spirtuality & Fitness

I guest posted this week on Passion for Life, Love, and Health as part of a Healthy Soul, Healthy Body series.  Each week of May, Ashleigh has a guest blogger from a different religion share their perspective.

I’m not sure I’ve specifically mentioned it here before, but I’m a Mormon.  It’s an important part of my identity and guides many of the choices I make in my life.  In my guest post, I talked about a time where I lost sight of my divine identity.  Getting back in touch with that was necessary before I had the strength to start to take care of my body.  If you’re interested, you can read the whole post here.

This short video clip conveys the message I wanted to send better than my words ever could.

“As you look into the water and see your true reflection, I hope you can finally see beyond the imperfections and recognize who you truly are.”
