Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
Lately I’ve been focused on using more natural forms of skin care. Thanks to Pinterest, it’s easy to find a variety of recipes. I’ve tried a few. Some were successful and some were a big flop. You can find some of my favorites on my Natural Beauty Pinterest Board.
If you find a good recipe, these homemade products can definitely save you money. But I also have several unusual ingredients I’ve purchased online for various beauty products and now they are just sitting in my closet until I find another use for them.
I’ve also become more educated and aware of the ingredients products contain that I buy from the store. It’s amazing how many chemicals are in some of those things made for your skin.
One of my favorite parts of being a blogger is getting to try out new products and share them with my readers. Stick around because today’s product is a good one!
About Elite Therapeutics
Elite Therapeutics is a Denver skincare company founded by Dr. Kevin Schewe, an Oncologist who has devoted his 23 year medical career to the fight against cancer. He witnessed over and over the ravaging effects of radiation and chemotherapy on the skin and body. He set out on a personal mission to help reduce the trauma individuals experience when undergoing these types of treatments.
Through his years of research and testing various skin products, he became convinced that Vitamin E is very important in the protection, maintenance, and repair of damaged skin.
The Elite Therapeutics skincare products combine Vitamin-E with antioxidants and cellular nutrition ingredients sourced from exotic regions around the world which protect, repair, and restore cancer patients’ skin.
Not only are Elite Therapeutic products amazing for cancer patients, but for anyone who has experienced skin damage from other sources such as sun exposure, illness, environmental pollution, or even simply natural aging.
The Elite Creme contains Vitamins A, C, and E, Manuka Honey, Pink Grapefruit, and Avocado oil.
My Experience with the Product
The cold winter weather has wreaked havoc on my skin. I feel like a lizard most of the time. I’m also in my early 40’s and I’m starting to get lines on my forehead. If my mother reads this, she’ll probably say, “I told you so.” When I was a teenager, she told me over and over that someday I would regret all the time I spent laying out in the sun. At the time I thought I was invincible, but she was right.
This product was like heaven for my dry skin. It’s feels very moisturizing, absorbs well, and smells nice. Unlike other moisturizers I’ve tried, my skin still felt moisturized hours after I used the product. I put my makeup foundation on shortly after applying the moisturizer, and my skin has never looked better. I’ve been using the moisturizer for about a month and I still have about half a bottle, so it lasts for a long time. Although I received this bottle free to facilitate this review, I’ll definitely be buying more for myself. It’s that awesome!
