I’m in the middle of a confidence course. It’s so amazing, and as soon as I have permission to share the details with you, I will. One of the assignments this week was to create a personal mantra and share it, so I’m sharing mine with you.
The experience of writing it was emotional and difficult, but rewarding all at the same time.
We all live by a personal set of beliefs which guide the course of our lives. They give us meaning and purpose, and they help us make important decisions. Writing those things down on paper can create a huge momentum shift in your life. Having a visual reminder to review often is very powerful. I’ve added the image below to my phone as my lock screen. I plan on reviewing it daily as well as any time I’m feeling anxious, afraid, overwhelmed, or struggling.
If you don’t already have your own personal mantra, I highly recommend creating one. It will empower you in moments of doubt, and will establish rules and guidelines that give you confidence when making decisions.
