Losing weight, getting healthy, running a marathon, building a business doesn’t happen by doing BIG things. It happens by doing a LOT of little things that lead to big results.
The issue is that often we think little things are big things, so we put it off until tomorrow–you know, when we have more time, more motivation, more money.
We think about it. We talk about it. We tell people that we’re going to do it.
But we don’t.
But the the little thing is just that. A Little Thing.
Starting is always the hardest part, but it doesn’t have to be. Just pick one little thing and do it today. Still confused and don’t know where to begin?
Here’s my list of the little things I’ve done, one baby step at a time:
Drink water
Coconut oil
Add a fruit/veggie to every meal
Enjoy food
Forgiveness
Loving myself
Eat only when hungry
Stop comparing
Journal
Listen to my heart
Deliberately choose my thoughts
Cry
Cry some more
Get back up
Pray
Drink more water
Rest days
Say no
Talk kindly to myself
Focus on what I love about me
Focus on what I love about you
Keep an eternal perspective
Be kind
LOVE MYSELF more
